A nearly naked abortion activist screamed on a pew and interrupted a small Catholic church in Michigan on Sunday before being removed from the building.
The incident is the latest in a growing series of intimidation and violence since news broke of a leaked draft ruling in which the US Supreme Court overthrew Roe v. Wade. Dozens of churches and pro-life organizations have been victims of arson, vandalism, threats, and harassment, and pro-abortion radicals threaten more violence if the court overthrows Roe this summer.
The Catholic News Agency reports that three female abortion activists disrupted mass at St. Veronica Parish in Eastpointe, near Detroit, including one almost completely naked.
A video of the incident shows the nearly naked woman standing on a couch and yelling, “Kee turn around? No way!” and “Abortion Without Apology!” interrupted the priest’s sermon. Two others stood outside the church waving green bandanas, a pro-abortion symbol before the ushers removed them from the church.

Detroit Archdiocese spokesman Ned McGrath told CNA the church had called local police about the incident.
“All religious communities should have the freedom to worship without fear,” McGrath said. “In the Archdiocese of Detroit, we are committed to guiding women and families undergoing difficult or unexpected pregnancies and advocating for laws that protect the lives of unborn babies and mothers.”
Disrupting a religious service is illegal. According to the Thomas More Society, a conservative legal group, federal law prohibits “impeding or interfering with one’s First Amendment right to religious liberty in a place of religious worship.”
However, pro-abortion activists have done this several times in recent weeks.
The three in St. Veronica may be associated with Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights, a pro-abortion group that organizes protests at churches across the country, according to CNA.
“Several cities will stage protests outside prominent churches in their cities,” Rise 4 Abortion Rights stated on its website ahead of the planned Mother’s Day protests. “These might look like a group of people with signs wearing Handmaid’s Tale outfits, handing out flyers to churchgoers, or doing a die-in.”
The website also praised an incident where abortion activists stripped off their clothes and disrupted a megachurch in Houston, Texas, earlier this month. Rise 4 Abortion Rights said their actions inspire Americans “to get off the sidelines themselves and join visible nonviolent mass protests on the streets and everywhere else.”
The Supreme Court leak has sparked outrage from abortion activists. Since the news broke in early May, Americans have witnessed a wave of vandalism, arson, attacks, and threats against churches and pro-life organizations, and advocates.
Last week, an alleged murderer with a gun was arrested outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after the man said he planned to kill the judge, police said. And over the weekend, a fourth pro-life organization fell victim to arson.
