Planned Parenthood Closes Boise, Idaho Abortion Company That Was Killing Babies for 15 Years

Another Planned Parenthood abortion company has closed, this time in Boise, Idaho.

Last month, America’s largest abortion company announced plans to shut down five facilities in Vermont and New Hampshire on June 12, citing staffing problems and politics. Following that announcement, Planned Parenthood said it would close five abortion centers in Indiana, Idaho, and Alaska.

The stunning news that Idaho Planned Parenthood has closed its flagship abortion center on State Street in Idaho’s largest city confirms it is one of five abortion centers it planned to close.

The Boise Planned Parenthood, located at 3668 N. Harbor Lane off State Street, closed on June 1. The property was for sale through Keller Williams Commercial for $999,000. A sign on the door of the former clinic directs patients to Meridian or Twin Falls.

Katie Rodihan, the spokesperson for Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky, said it was one of five clinic closures in the region after “a comprehensive assessment of all our health centers and the needs of patients in all six of our states. Rodihan said the review was prompted by the US Supreme Court’s “probable nullification of Roe v. Wade,” the landmark case outlining abortion rights.

The pro-life group Idaho Chooses Life told LifeNews.com that they were delighted at the news.

“This was the largest facility that Planned Parenthood operated in Idaho, and the only one where they performed surgical abortions,” it said. “Signs on the closed facility direct potential customers to contact their remaining Twin Falls and Meridian offices.”

Idaho Choose Life reports that Boise Planned Parenthood has killed thousands of babies over the past 15 years.

“The State Street facility has been in operation for over 15 years. Thousands of babies have been slaughtered within its walls,” ICL said, thanking God for the results.

“We praise God for this shrinkage in the presence of Planned Parenthood in Idaho. The Lord is on the move, and the abortion industry is on the defensive as we await Roe’s overthrow and the implementation of our trigger law later this summer. But we must recognize the zeal and loyalty of the region’s pro-Lifers to achieve this dramatic victory,” ICL continued. “For years, faithful Christians have prayed for that facility and begged the Lord to stop the killing within its walls. We attended those prayer vigils led by 40 Days for Life and Respect Life groups from various Catholic parishes in the Treasure Valley. Those prayers have produced beautiful fruit.”

That trigger law could go into effect once the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade and outlaws abortions in the state — leading to all abortion facilities statewide shutting down.

While Planned Parenthood is no longer open in Boise, that doesn’t mean pregnant women don’t have resources or support.

“Stanton Healthcare also has specific credits. About a decade ago, they opened a life-affirming clinic next to Planned Parenthood’s murder factory — giving women and girls one last chance to change their mind about ending their unborn child’s life,” noted ICL.

The closures are good news for women and unborn children. All Planned Parenthood centers either kill babies in abortions, sell the dangerous abortion pill that has killed and injured women, or refer abortions.

Planned Parenthood has aborted more than 8 million unborn babies since abortion became legal nationwide in 1973. The most recent annual report showed a record number of abortions in 2020: 354,871, which is about 40 percent of all abortions in the US

Meanwhile, the same report showed that many of Planned Parenthood’s health services continue decliningine. It offered fewer contraception, sterilizations, cancer screenings, referrals to adoptions, and other women’s health services than the previous year, reflecting an ongoing downward trend.

Planned Parenthood’s patient numbers have also declined steadily over the past decade amid numerous reports of allegedly unethical and illegal activities by Planned Parenthood, including the sale of aborted baby body parts, botched abortions in which women were killed, the cover-up of sexual abuse of minors, discrimination against pregnant women and ethnic minority workers, exploiting young girls by selling sex hormones, and more.
