A grand jury has indicted the pro-abortion extremist who tried to kill Judge Brett Kavanaugh last week.
Nicholas Roske, the California man arrested at Kavanaugh’s home with a gun and a backpack full of tools, has been indicted on charges of attempting “to kill a judge of the Supreme Court of the United States.” Roske told officials he was upset about the draft Supreme Court’s advice to overturn Roe v. Wade potentially.
Federal officials found a Glock pistol, 37 ammunition, a “black speedloader,” hard knuckle gloves, pepper spray, a knife, lock-picking tools, and a black mask among his belongings.

The maximum penalty for anyone guilty of that crime is life imprisonment, although it is rare for federal convicts to receive the harshest sentences possible.
Prosecutors said Wednesday they also seized Roske’s weapons and ammunition discovered during his arrest near Kavanaugh’s home in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Federal agents allege Roske traveled from his home in Simi Valley, California, to Maryland to kill Kavanaugh after a leaked draft opinion on May 2 showed that the Supreme Court justice and other of his fellow conservatives had tentatively voted to kill Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 ruling that established the nationwide right to abortion.
Agents say that Roske called the Montgomery County, Maryland Emergency Communications Center on June 8 and confessed to his plans before executing them. He was arrested and told investigators that he was angry with Kavanaugh for believing the judge would relax gun laws when a spate of deadly mass shootings had recently occurred, including at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde. , Texas.
Between Roske’s arrest and indictment, the US House gave final approval to a bill to increase security around Supreme Court justices and their loved ones after the leak of the draft abortion advice sparked nationwide protests.
The legislation passed the Senate on May 9 and the House by 396 to 27 votes on Tuesday.

The indictment comes on the same day radical abortion activists released a statement promoting more violence. After months of attacks on pro-life centers across the country, a militant group is pledging violence against these centers.
The threat comes from an open letter from the pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge. Jane’s Revenge stated that the “30 Days of Patience and Mercy” is now over, and it will start targeting pro-life groups. Now more pro-life centers will be the target of their vicious attacks, reported by the Post Millennial. “Your thirty days passed yesterday,” the letter on June 15 read. “We offered an honorable way out. You could have walked away. Now the belt is off. And we will make it as difficult as possible for your campaign of oppression to continue.”
The terrorists plan to escalate. “We pledged to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures,” the letter continues. “Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something as easy to clean up as fire and graffiti. Sometimes you’ll see what we’re doing, and then you’ll know it’s us.”
One of the popular slogans that have been graffitied is, “If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.” Jane’s Revenge threatens the pro-life groups akin to a mob boss, saying, “From now on, any anti-choice group that closes its doors and stops working will no longer be a target. But until you do, it’s open season, and we know where your activities are.”

Not only do they threaten Jane’s Revenge, but they encourage their cronies to wreak havoc on the streets. “You’re already one of us. Anyone with the urge to paint, burn, cut, jam: now is the time,” the letter concludes. “Go forth and manifest the things you wish to see. Stay safe and practice your cursive.” A direct call to action to thwart innocent pro-lifers and destroy property. Will this group face the consequences of its threats? Probably not.
